Kosmont Companies is retained by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) to assist with the programming and provision of screening and technical advisory services in connection with the implementation of Enhanced Infrastructure Financing Districts (EIFD) and Community Revitalization and Investment Authorities (CRIA) in SCAG member jurisdictions. Kosmont will be participating in regional training efforts with SCAG and assisting in providing technical direction to SCAGs 191 member cities. Kosmont is evaluating four potential EIFD/CRIA Pilot Projects for SCAG, including TOD-infrastructure related development in (1) the LAX-Crenshaw community of the City of Los Angeles, (2) the Cities of Redlands and San Bernardino, (3) the City of Santa Ana, and (4) the San Pedro community of the City of Los Angeles.
